Epson printer problem: Wont print or scan,can u help me please?

Its a CX5400.I've recently changed the cartridges (colour),I've done the head cleaning,nozzle checks and gone through the Epson help desk troubleshooter guide...nada!:(



Everything looks and operates "as normal"....with the exception of printing and scanning...any ideas,suggestions or help in general is appreciated.

So if you just choose to copy an item it works fine. But if you try to scan something into the computer or print from the computer it does work?



Does the printer test page from windows print? (Start | Control Panel | Printers | Right click on the printer -should only be listed 1 time- and click on Properties. Click on Print test page.)



Which version of Windows are you running?



Trying to narrow down the problem to a driver issue or possibly the USB cable.
