Need a quote for my 69 mustang?

Hi there everyone I have a1969 mustang that's been sitting in storage for a while I would like to get the best Price quote for the car nada guides gave it on the low end $6,218

So about the car

Its all original from factory

Has factory plastic or leather interior in almost perfect condition just the dash is going from the years and has a small dime size hole in the drivers seat over all the interior hasn't been restored at all So pretty much its the interior from the factory back in 1969

The Body is rust free and in excellent may have small minor dents but other than that its straight and smooth

Has all 4 original hubcaps chrome bumpers that still shine and tires and rims

Everything is there only a few things are missing

some emblems and a front light and a dome light

has the original vinyl hard top no cracks its all there

the most value is the mileage at 5,216.9 miles have pics to prove

The bads

Engine needs to be rebuilt meaning everything about the engine it froze up transmission gone through same with the rear axle

Needs new paint since its original and faded

Needs a new passenger side wheel well was destroyed from battery acid

and it will need a new set of tires

and new windshield

Any Idea how much it is worth considering that nothing has been redone on the car? matching numbers etc

Give me your best appraisal I dont need someone saying its worth nothing

thanks for your best answers guys|||The car has major issues.. and mustangs are a dime a dozen the quote might be about right me personally since the motor is damaged wouldnt pay more than 5k at most only if it was the 428 all the other things are cute but every other mustang has those. matching numbers mean almost nothing unless the car is truly valuable.|||I'd say the quote you were already given is right around its value because basically you're just selling an immaculate car BODY. If the car ran and didn't need any replacement, it'd be worth upwards of 12,000.|||that quote may be a little high...

you don't say what model, so it must be a notch back

you don't say what engine, so it must be a six

and without documentation, the mileage is probably 105k

so only worth three or four thousand in running condition..|||Cant give you an estimate - but a good quote for selling it "NE1469" mustang . That should stir a few heads.|||I like the quote, "Vroom"|||"Just like the sex position, nothing beats it."|||It likely has 105,216 miles, not 5216. No way the engine, transmission, and axle would all require rebuilds with only 5k on the clock.

This car is going to require at least $10k in repairs, probably closer to $15k before it gets back into presentably condition. New/rebuilt engine, new/rebuilt transmission, new/rebuilt axle, new paint, emblems, new fender possible, new tires, new windshield, new dash, and I'm sure there are a couple things as well.

You didn't mention what model or bodystyle or engine or what transmission it has and those things figure heavily into the value of the car. A Boss 429 is worth a hell of alot more than a base notch with the straight 6.

For a non running notch with an I6, or a 302, $2500-$3000 sounds about right, it's not worth a hell of alot as it sits. The value you got from NADA is for a mechanically sound car, this one is not mechanically sound.
