Prizm Engine Flush time?

I have a 2002 prizm, with about 75,000 miles, i'm suspecting i'm developing the famous Toyota Engine sludge problem. Would it be a good idea to flush the engine just this once as a preventive measure before anything gets out of hand? On another note I bought this car in 2004 with 34,000 miles on it, and it was in a pretty abused condition, like the previous owner didn't hammer it to the ground, but he somewhat took care of it. Ever since i purchased this car, i do oil changes around 2,700-3,000 miles, so I think im good on that. I take it to a Goodyear Gemini, and Firestone center to change the oil, but sometimes I take it to a Valvoline instant oil change.I have NEVER flushed the engine. So is it a good idea to flush it? Any other opinions? Options?Prizm Engine Flush time?
Flushes are BAD.

Go here if you want to take an engine treatment approach:

Listen out of all of the Prizm's I have owned the 1999 model I had was the only one that I had to have the engine flushed every 6000-10,000 miles. I dont know why but that model 1998-2002 engines do have a sludge problem. The 1989-1997 models did not. However if the engine is quiet and isnt having any problems Im not sure if I would flush the engine or not. I mean if you have been changing the oil like you should have been you might not even have a sludge problem.Prizm Engine Flush time?
why do you think it needs flushed?if any thing i would remove the Valve cover and see if its getting sludged up then i would clean it out good and the returns and put a new gasket on,then run it for 5-10 mins then change the oil and filter.i dont like engine flush stuff.
if one does maintenance like one should..shouldnt never need to be flush and if your going to any quick oil change places your not getting it done right quick done mean good so if they not draining it they not getting it all out like it should be
