Kelley Blue Book or NADA?

Which price guide should I use to base the sale price of my vehicle? The trade-in value that the dealership offered me is insulting. I want to sell the vehicle myself but I am unsure of which guide more accurately reflects what I should use as my asking price.Kelley Blue Book or NADA?
which ever one is higher. but probably k.b.b. cuz thats a lil more standard with the people who will be looking at your car.Kelley Blue Book or NADA?
Neither. Try www.edmunds.comKelley Blue Book or NADA?
I work with loans at a financial institution and we use NADA value for what we loan up to. But if your concerned that one is much higher then the other (KBB and NADA) just take the average of the two and sell the car for that.
The retail values given in both books is usually "pie in the sky". Look at the average condition retail value and that is pretty close. Add a bit to this so you have room to negotiate. Also, check the ads on Autotrader.com and take about $500 off for negotiating. When you start to check different sources and end up with similar numbers, you're at the right price.
