Jiffy lube (basically the same thing) pays around 8 bucks an hour to start. Also you will be expected to "up sell" things that people don't really need-- like fuel system cleaner, or new air filters to replace ones that aren't really dirty.
As a matter of fact these jobs are more concerned with your retail skills than your mechanical skills. They figure they can teach anyone to change oil and put air in tires. im not sure. i think its 10 an hour. but entry level job might be lower.
