Im looking at a boat that is for sale and on the mercruiser engine it says
50/v8 alpha one.
Im trying to look up the value on this boat but the nada is asking what is the Engine Size. Can you help me out.

and what liter|||Thats a 5.0 liter v-8 engine.|||5.0 range from 225 to 270 hp depending on year model and if carbureterd or fuel injected.
Most likely yours is a 5.0 250 hp.|||was it 5.0/v8? 5.0 would be the liters, probably a Chevy 305 cubic inch V8, depending on the year though, I had an 5.0 ford (302 cu in) and a Chevy 305 as well, both older (mid and late 70's) mercruiser at one time. the 302 had 215 HP...sorry cant help more on the HP on this one without the year....|||Most likely it is a typo and should read:
350ci/V8
Alpha one refers to the outdrive.
The engine itself is a 5.7 liter, 260 hp.|||sounds like a 305 chevy that newer than 1983
