I have a 1992 Chapparrel 1800SL Limited with a 3.0 Mercrusier. It is a runabout fiberglass boat. How much does this boat weigh? When I book it on nada it say 6300lbs. This is not true...any ideas?|||I think it's much less than 6300 Ibs, I think ur boat is something between 17:20 ft length , so the the dry hull weight is something between 1500:1800 lbs ( without engine, .....). I think it's 3600 lbs not 6300lbs.|||1800SL, so an 18' fiberglass??? with the 3.0 mercruiser should be around 2500 lbs|||No way, this boat has to be around 2500 to 2700 lbs.
6300 lbs would be a boat somewhere in the 25 to 27 ft. range.
Addendum: OK, wow! I looked it up on iBoats, and they are saying the dry weight is 1525. Seems low, but not out of the range of possibilities.
